No more than 3 rods per angler.
Hooks must be barbless or micro-barbed only.
Line must be minimum 15lb - We recommend the use of strong braided snag-leaders if fishing in or around the lily pads
No rods to be left unattended at any time.
All anglers must be in possession of an adequately sized landing net (42" arms or above) and a suitable large unhooking mat.
No nuts, large beans or particles to be used. (Small particles like Hemp & Partiblend are ok).
No excessive drinking, loud noise or rowdy behaviour will be tolerated.
The Private House is strictly out of bounds. Do not enter on to the holding net piers. No fishing in Chaletpool which is the venue next to Pads Lake, unless by prior permission
No fires. BBQ's OK.
Please keep the swims and the cabins tidy at all times and use the bins provided by the Private House.
All cars to be left in the designated parking area (by the shower block).
Please only use the toilets provided (NOT THE BUSHES!)
Sacking of fish: Sacking of fish is allowed, but must be kept to the minimum time possible (15 mins) during daylight hours. Please be sensible and don't sack fish unless you have to and ensure the conditions are suitable for those fish to be sacked.
We believe these rules to be firm but fair to every angler that fishes our lakes. They are not there to prevent you catching fish, but are intended to protect the fish to ensure that others can enjoy the pleasures of catching them in the future.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ASK ANY ANGLER (OR GROUP) IN BREACH OF THESE RULES, TO LEAVE THE FISHERY IMMEDIATELY WITH NO REFUND OF ANY OF THE FEES THAT HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY PAID!!
