Swim 1 is immediately on the left as you come through the fishery gates. It is a spacious “double” swim with a good sized wooden cabin (with mains 220v electric sockets and lighting) set back away from the bank. The swim offers the anglers a variety options to fish to. To the left there is a long “bay like” margin that has many overhanging trees. Approximately 30yards out to the left there is also a large set of lily pads. In the middle of the swim there is a small island, surrounded to the right hand side by deep water and the right hand side of the swim offers two further areas of fishable water. One of the areas has a good depth and has plenty of lily pads, which are ideal for close range work. To the far right of the swim is an area of open water between the large island and the nearside bank. Swim 1 does not have any other swims nearby, so is not really suited to those who like the “social” side of carping, unless it’s being used as a double swim.
