Swim 4 is approximately 50 yards further down the spit, past swim 3. Not too far from the toilet and it has a vast amount of options to fish to, in both the back bay and
the front bay. It can actually be used as a “double” swim, with enough room for two small bivvys. The front bay offers a small island either side of the swim,
both of which are surrounded by lily pads. There is a large gravel bar running between these two islands. At range, past these two islands there is a large set of
lily pads, which often produce fish, but to achieve good results from these lilies it’s advisable to land fish from a boat (available free at the lake) out in open water,
beyond the small islands. The back bay far margin often produces fish. This area is a fair distance from the spit, so a row boat or bait-boat may be required to achieve
the best results from this area. The far bank it totally covered in overhanging trees and there are small “holes” in the undergrowth along the margin, to fish to.
You’ll need to be quick to get them away from the snags along the back bay far margin!! .
