KORDA N Trap KD Rig

The KD is my favourite carp rig. Use it with a slow sinking bait and it will hook fish that normally avoid capture - Tom Dove Team Korda.

To make the KD work best, you must use a balanced bait. The hook should lay flat with the bait hovering above it. The 3 different sizes of extenda stops supplied allow the rig to be used with numerous hook bait sizes and combinations.

No.1: Pop-Up balanced with a split shot on the hair.

No.2: Korda Slow sinking corn, maize or dumbells.

No.3: Drilled out bottom bait fished muzza style with Korda bait drill and cork.

Toms top tips: tie the hair to the shank of the hook with Korda 10mm PVA tape, or thread on a funnel web bag to stop the hair tangling. Convert to quick change: cut off swivel, hook on to kwiklink, cover with 3mm silicone sleeve.
