Shipping and Returns

Please note we are unable to offer refunds on any items bought physically in person at our store, but can at our discretion offer store credit for unused items if brought to our attention within 7 days of your purchase. Some items are automatically excluded from any store credit and these include all types of line, hooklinks, braid, all bait, liquids and any items ordered in specially for a customer.

This section explains what to do if you've received a damaged, defective, unwanted or incorrect item from England Angling. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

WE CANNOT EXCEPT RETURNS OF ANY BAIT INCLUDING SHELF LIFE BOILIES, FROZEN BOILIES, PREPARED BAIT, DEADBAIT, FROZEN BAIT. WE ARE ALSO UNABLE TO TAKE RETURNS ON ANY TOILETRY ITEMS SUCH AS RIDGEMONKEY TOILETS.

REFUNDS ARE NORMALLY MADE BY METHOD BY WHICH YOU MADE YOUR ORIGNAL PAYMENT AND PROCESSED WITHIN 15 TO 30 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE GOODS BACK

If you need to exchange an item of clothing for a different size then we cannot give free delivery on exchanges therefore a delivery charge will be made.

If the item was damaged in transit

If you take delivery of an England Angling package and the contents have been damaged in transit, please email or call us within 14 calender days after the day you have received delivery.

If the item is defective: You have the right to return a faulty item within a reasonable period of time. Please keep all the warranty information that accompanies your item as this will be needed should there be a fault. In the unlikely event that you have a faulty item, you may find it quicker and easier to contact the manufacturer directly so that they can rectify the problem for you. If you choose to return the item to us, please follow the instructions below.

If we sent you an item you did not order (an "incorrect" item): If we have sent you an incorrect item, you must e-mail or call us and let us know within 14 calendar days of receiving the item. We'll send you the correct item as soon as we can. Send the original item back to us (please follow the instructions below) and we'll make sure you are not charged for it.

If you wish to cancel your order after receiving your goods: By law, customers in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within 14 calendar days of the date of your purchase. All items must be unused, have no signs of wear and returned in their original undamaged packaging. You must notify us by email or telephone of your itention to return any item(s) within 14 calendar days of taking delivery. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee equating to delivery at cost (£32 for any items over 1m in length or any bedchairs and chairs, £7 for standard parcels under 1m over 2KG in weight, , and £3 for all other parcels) plus credit/debit card processing charges of 2% of the total value of your order. We regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of video and DVD products where the item has been unsealed.

During the Christmas period for clothing purchased between 1st December and 24th December, we are willing to exchange items of clothing that do not fit (for the correct size) if they are unused, still with any packaging and tags they came with and in re-salable condition (ie not tainted with laundry odours, smoke, beer smells etc) if you notify us by Jan 2nd and return the item by Jan 9th. We can only offer refunds if you notify us within 14 calendar days after the day of delivery. Shipping charges at cost will also apply for exchanges.

How to Return Your Damaged, Defective, Incorrect Item or if you cancel your order within 14 calendar days after receving delivery and notify us within 14 calendar days of receiving your item(s) that you wish to make a return

Please follow the steps below to enable us to process your refund efficiently:

+ You must notify us by email or telephone of your itention to return item(s) within 14 calendar days of taking delivery of your item(s).

+ Write on the back of your invoice, giving the reason for the return (including a full description of the fault if the item is defective)

+ If you don't have the original invoice, include a note detailing the reason for return. This note must include your order number, which you will be able to find in the email that was sent to you when you placed your order online.

+ Wrap the item securely in its original packaging with all warranty cards, licences, manuals and accessories

+ Send the package to the address below using a suitable service that will cover the cost of the goods should they become lost or damaged in transit:

+ Please notify us if you wish to deliver returns to us by hand.
+ We will notify you via e-mail to the email address that is associated with your original payment when we have processed your return WITHIN 15 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE GOODS BACK.
+ For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service as we cannot be held responsible for lost packages.

+Note: in the event of England Angling sending you a replacement for a damaged, defective or incorrect item, you must return the original item to England Angling within 30 days. England Angling reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement to the payment card used for the original order if the item is not returned within 30 days of the date on which England Angling confirms we will issue a replacement.

+Note: We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect.
